Bio:
Back When was formed in January 2002, in Omaha, Nebraska and has gone through a few lineup changes and musical changes in their existence. Back When's previous releases have been filled with chaotic guitars and blast beats mixed with dual vocals, but the band has evolved into playing more heavy epic songs with most of the music doing the talking and are now more comfortable than ever with their sound. With a few tours under their belt, the Omahans have released an EP entitled "Celebration of Alceste" on Imagine It Records and the seven inch "Swords Against the Father" on Init Records. Upcoming releases for the band include a split 12" with Omaha's Robots Don't Cry, courtesy of Wristwatch Records, and a split seven inch with Richmond's The Set Up, courtesy of Init Records. Back When is currently beginning the process of writing for a full-length and has plans for a possible summer tour.
